Job description

Would you love to showcase your experience, commercial talent, and plain ingenuity in selling a proven AI-driven SaaS solution in various European markets? Do you have what it takes to help top-tier fashion retail executives understand the value we can bring?

In 2024, we released Markmi, an AI assistant for fashion retailers that enables merchandising teams to make smarter, faster, and more profitable pricing (markdown) decisions.

By leveraging fashion-focused intelligence and advanced forecasting, Markmi enables teams to set optimal price markdowns that swiftly respond to market shifts, protect margins, and drive revenue—all without relying on outdated spreadsheets or generic tools. Our algorithms, trained specifically on fashion data, empower retailers to reduce manual workload, gain better control over the markdown process, and achieve superior sales outcomes. Markmi demonstrates that with the right tool, fashion teams can confidently use price markdowns as a powerful asset to drive growth.

As a Business Development Representative at Markmi, you will play a pivotal role in driving our commercial success. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will be the first BDR to join our growing team, giving you a unique opportunity to break new ground, help shape our lead generation strategy, and directly influence business growth.

Your core mission will be to transform cold prospects into qualified leads through highly personalized outreach and by representing Markmi at industry-specific trade shows and events across Europe.

This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in sales development who is eager to take the initiative, experiment with innovative outreach strategies, and make a lasting impact. By joining Markmi at this exciting stage, you’ll help expand our presence in the fashion retail market and lay the foundation for future growth. This will open the door to new opportunities for you within our commercial team.
